Start Searching

Abbreviations used

Brick Types:
MA Masonry
PA Street Paver (a vitrified brick commonly used in roads)
FB Firebrick (refractory brick)
SW Sidewalk Paver (usually a design)

Print Locations:
FP Face Print (markings are on the face, largest surface of the brick)
ED Edge Print (markings are on the edge or side of the brick)
EN End Print (markings on the end of the brick)

Print Styles:
RL Raised Letter
FR Frog (a depression in the brick)
SS Salesman Sample (a small brick)
EM Enameled

NOTE:
End Print:: some bricks are roll printed, so the lines on your brick may not appear in the right order. If the first line doesn't match, try the next.
CBMA: symbol of the Common Brick Manufacturer's Association.
Symbols: non-letter markings are put in parentheses, such as (arrowhead).
